How can I remove payment options?

At any point, you can remove a saved payment option you've previously added. The only prerequisite to this is that you must cancel any active subscription on your account first. Please note that we are only storing the last 4 digits of your credit/debit card to make it easy for you to identify and select your preferred payment options. We are not storing your full card details. Payments and details are handled by our payment processor BrainTree.

Step-by-step

To remove your saved payment option(s):

1. Log into your account and go to https://users.nexusmods.com/account/billing
2. If you have an active subscription, you will need to cancel it firs by clicking "Cancel Subscription" and confirming. 
3. You can then return to the billing page and select "MANAGE" under your Payment info.
4. Click on "Edit" in the top right to make changes to your saved payment options.
5. Click on the X next to the payment option you want to remove and confirm by clicking "Delete"
